What we fix on your Apple Watch

  • Cracked or lifted screen — glass/display replacement, the most requested repair.
  • Battery that will not last — a replacement that restores original battery life.
  • Will not turn on / will not charge — full charging and board diagnostic.
  • Button and Digital Crown issues, and assessment after water contact.

We confirm the exact part at the free diagnostic. Curious about price? See how much does a repair cost.

Every Apple Watch series

Apple Watch Series (all recent generations), Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Ultra. An Apple Watch display is glued and sealed — replacing it takes precision tooling and proper cure time; we give you a clear timeline at the free diagnostic, depending on model, parts and damage. Your data lives on your paired iPhone and iCloud — the watch repair never touches it.

Frequently asked questions

The screen lifting off is almost always the battery

If your Apple Watch display has started to rise at one edge, or has popped off entirely while the watch still works, the glass is not the cause — the battery underneath has swollen and pushed it out. Lithium cells expand as they age or fail, and inside a case this tight there is nowhere for that pressure to go except upward against the display.

Two things follow from that. First, gluing the screen back down is not a repair; it traps a swelling cell under a sealed panel. Second, a lifted display is worth acting on sooner rather than later — once the seal is broken, moisture and dust reach the internals, and a straightforward battery job can turn into a board-level one. Bring it in and let us look; the diagnostic costs nothing.

What we see most often

Cracked or shattered front glass — usually a doorframe or a fall onto tile. On many models the glass and the display are bonded as one assembly, which is why a hairline crack is not the trivial fix people expect.

Battery that no longer lasts the day — a watch that needs charging by mid-afternoon when it used to reach bedtime is showing normal cell ageing, not a defect.

A watch that will not charge — sometimes the charging puck or cable, sometimes the back crystal’s charging coil. Worth testing another charger before you assume the worst.

Digital Crown stuck, gritty or unresponsive — often sweat, sunscreen and lint packed into the mechanism rather than a broken part.

Back glass separating — the same swollen-battery story approached from the other side.

Water where it should not be — condensation under the crystal, or a speaker that sounds muffled after swimming.

Series, SE and Ultra are not the same job

We work on Apple Watch across the generations, including the SE models and Ultra. They are not interchangeable jobs. Earlier aluminium models come apart comparatively kindly. Later models use stronger adhesive and tighter internal routing, so the display has to be freed slowly with controlled heat — rushing it is how flex cables tear. The Ultra adds a titanium case and a much thicker crystal, which changes both the handling and the risk profile.

This is also why we prefer to see the watch before saying what a repair involves. Model and generation change the answer, and a guess made over the phone helps nobody.

An honest word about water resistance

Once an Apple Watch has been opened, its original factory water resistance cannot be guaranteed by anyone — not by us, and not by any independent shop. The seals are set during manufacture and are not fully restorable in the field. We reseal carefully and we take it seriously, but we will not tell you it is swim-proof again, because that claim would not be true.

If you swim with your watch daily, factor that into your decision. It is a real trade-off, and you deserve to weigh it with accurate information rather than find out in a pool.

Before you bring it in

Unpair the watch from your iPhone if you can. Unpairing triggers a backup to the phone, so your activity history, settings and watch faces come back when you re-pair — skip it and that data may not survive. Know your Apple ID password; Activation Lock will ask for it and it cannot be worked around. Bring the charger if the complaint is about charging, since it is sometimes the charger at fault.
