iPhone 13 screen replacement price in Montreal

One starting price covers all four models in the series. Every iPhone 13 has a Super Retina XDR OLED screen, so the final price mostly comes down to screen size (5.4 inches on the 13 mini, up to 6.7 inches on the 13 Pro Max), ProMotion on the Pro models, and the option you pick.

Broken iPhone 13 OLED screen: the symptoms

All four iPhone 13 models have an OLED screen. When it’s damaged, the symptoms don’t always look like those of a broken LCD:

  • A black or purple blot spreading from the point of impact and growing over the days: the OLED panel itself is damaged.
  • A vertical line — green, pink or white — across the image that doesn’t go away after a restart.
  • Flickering or an image that stays very dim, even at full brightness.
  • A black screen while the iPhone still vibrates, rings or unlocks with Face ID: the display has stopped responding, but the phone works.
  • Cracked glass over a perfect image: Ceramic Shield glass is tough, not unbreakable, and a crack usually reaches the panel sooner or later.

Touch that acts on its own, or stops responding altogether, is another common sign. The diagnostic is free with no appointment: we tell you what’s broken before we talk price.

Which iPhone 13 do you have? The four screens in the series

Each model takes its own part. To check yours, open Settings › General › About and look at the model name.

iPhone 13 screen

A 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR (OLED) display, aluminum band and Ceramic Shield front. It’s the same size as the 13 Pro screen, but it isn’t the same screen: it has no ProMotion. We always fit the screen made for your exact model.

iPhone 13 mini screen

The smallest of the series: a 5.4-inch OLED screen in a format that fits in one hand. Its part is specific to the 13 mini and fits no other model in the 13 series, so mention “mini” when you ask for your price.

iPhone 13 Pro screen

A 6.1-inch OLED screen with ProMotion, which adjusts the refresh rate up to 120 Hz, a stainless steel band and a matte glass back. On this model and the 13 Pro Max, the screen you choose makes the biggest difference: see the ProMotion section below.

Dedicated page: iPhone 13 Pro screen →

iPhone 13 Pro Max screen

The largest screen of the series: 6.7 inches, OLED, with ProMotion. A bigger surface takes the hit more often in a fall, especially without a case. The part price follows the size and technology of the screen; yours is confirmed for free before we start.

ProMotion on the 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max: what to know before the repair

ProMotion changes the screen’s refresh rate to match what you’re doing, up to 120 Hz: scrolling feels smoother, and the screen slows down when the image is still to save battery.

An original screen, new or used, is built for this technology. With a compatible screen, it depends on the part: some don’t keep the same smoothness. Before we start, we tell you clearly what the option you pick keeps, and we check the smoothness with you once the screen is in.

Face ID and screen replacement on the iPhone 13

When the iPhone 13 came out, a screen replacement done outside Apple’s network could disable Face ID. Apple lifted that limit with iOS 15.2: since then, Face ID keeps working after a properly done screen replacement.

The top of the screen is still the most delicate area: that’s where the earpiece speaker and the Face ID sensors sit. We test Face ID, the earpiece and the front camera with you before you leave.

Three screen options for your iPhone 13

The price mostly depends on the part. The three options, straight up:

OptionBest forGood to know
New original screenYou’re keeping your iPhone 13 for a long timeOriginal image quality; ProMotion kept on Pro models.
Used-original screenYou want an Apple screen on a small budgetAn Apple screen previously used in another iPhone; iOS may list it as an unknown part.
Quality compatible screenYou just want a working screen againThird-party part, OLED or LCD; look and smoothness may differ from the original.

Not sure? Tell us how long you plan to keep the phone: we recommend the option that makes sense for you, not the most expensive one.

After the repair: True Tone, parts history and resale

In Settings › General › About, the iPhone 13 shows a Parts and Service History, a feature added with iOS 15.2. According to Apple, a screen that isn’t a genuine Apple part, or a genuine part that couldn’t be verified, may be listed there as an unknown part, and True Tone may then stop working. And since Apple only supports reusing a part from another iPhone on iPhone 15 and later, a used original screen installed in an iPhone 13 can also show up as an unknown part.

None of that stops you from using the phone normally. If you might resell your iPhone 13 one day, ask us what each option will show: we give you a straight answer before we start. And if the repair isn’t worth it, we say so too — you can even sell us your iPhone as is.

Your visit at 757 Beaubien St. E

  1. Walk in, no appointment, 7 days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Beaubien metro is one minute away.
  2. Free diagnostic: screen, touch, Face ID, then the rest of the iPhone.
  3. Price confirmed for the option you pick, before we touch the phone.
  4. Screen replacement, often in 10 to 30 minutes depending on the model and parts in stock.
  5. Checked with you: image, touch, Face ID, ProMotion on Pro models, earpiece.

A screen replacement doesn’t touch the storage: your photos and apps normally stay on the iPhone. A recent backup is still a good idea if the phone turns on.

Repair your iPhone 13 or replace it?

The iPhone 13 is compatible with iOS 27, so it still gets Apple’s updates. A new screen costs a small fraction of a new iPhone, which makes the repair worthwhile in most cases. The math changes when several parts are broken at once; we then give you the total price. To see clearly: which iPhones are worth repairing.

Use the visit to have the rest checked: iPhone 13 battery replacement if battery life is dropping, and iPhone back glass repair if the back is cracked.
